If you need another excuse to shop, here is a great reason! We have teamed up with a number of retailers, who have kindly agreed to donate a percentage of the purchases made by the Lappie community and friends, to our club.
The amount donated to the club ranges from 2% to 20% of the total purchase price (excluding postage). For a purchase to count, you need to enter the retailers website using the link on our website (click on the retailers logo to access the store through the special link), and purchase through their online store.
As an example. If you were to order from Vet Supply, a 2.5kg bag of Meal for Mutts Salmon and Sardines kibble for $36.99 and 8 doses of large dog Advantix for $80.99, the total order would be $117.98. Vet Supply, will donate 7% of this to the Finnish Lapphund Club of NSW, which is $8.25.
The retailers tally the donations and transfer the funds to the club on a monthly basis.
Your order is the same price as it would be if you were ordering without using our links. And you can still use any vouchers and codes to reduce the price of your order.
Fundraising is a crucial part of running the club. Fundraising ensures we can:
Pay required annual fees to Dogs NSW and Department of Fair Trading.
Bring breed specialist judges from overseas to judge at our annual breed specialty.
Purchase ribbons, rosettes and prizes to acknowledge member accomplishments in different fields.
Continue to operate, in order to hold Lappie picnics and hikes.
Buying banners etc for our breed stand for member events.
Paying for software, such as our website and for our domain.
Pay expenses incurred with various projects related to the breed.
Our committee are volunteers, and do not receive any funds for their work on behalf of the club.
We ask that you look to see if you regularly buy any of the items sold by these retailers, and if so, that you purchase through the link on our website. In this way, you can greatly assist with our fundraising efforts. Every little bit counts!
