Show Committee Report
The clubs Championship show was held on Sunday 25th March at Orchard Hills and was presided over by breed specialist Mr Tapio Kakko (Fin) with an entry of 59 Finnish Lapphunds.
On behalf of the committee we would like to congratulate the Best in Speciality show winner, Akela - Ch Orical Kirsi of Jove (AI) owned by Katrina Long & Lauren Mills.
Congratulations to the Runner up Best in Speciality show winner, Tortik - Ch Armahani Heliodorr Halu (AI) JC, owned by K. Yeap & Jacqualine Lincoln.
Congratulations also to all the other breed winners and Property Class winners on the day. We hope you all had an enjoyable day.
As with any event, no one person is responsible for it all and we would like to thank Chrissy Fitzgerald, Roslyn Seare, Katrina Long and Lauren Mills for their input and assistance in the organisation of the show during the year.

MRS TONI MCNEILL
New South Wales
I have been involved in purebred dogs for over 40 years, first breeding and owning champion Bichon
Frise and Lowchen. In 1988 I began showing Whippets, and together with my daughter Jenna, we
have now bred and owned generations of supreme and grand champions and multiple best in show
winners in Australia, as well as champion dogs in New Zealand and the USA. In 2016 our (now Am
Ch) Beauroi Proud as Punch, owned by Phoebe Jordan Booth, was Best of Winners at Westminster
Kennel Club and Winners Dog at the American Whippet Club National Specialty. I began judging in
1994 and have judged throughout Australia as well as both islands of New Zealand, including a
number of specialist and semi-specialist shows and NSW Hound of the Year twice. Now I monkey
around with Affenpinschers and Lowchen, having imported top producing lines from the US, Great
Britain, Europe and New Zealand.
For a long time I have had a deep admiration of the Finnish Lapphund and I am indeed honoured to
judge the property classes at your show today. Thank you so much for the invitation.

Judge Summary
It was very nice to be here. Here is many nice dogs. They don't have undercoat today, and I understand why. They move quite well. Some have upright upper arm, and little bit steep croup. We have this same problem in Finland. You have nice coat texture and nice heads, many dogs need much much stop. Some dogs moved very well, but they didn't have the coat today that I wanted. The temperament is much nicer than in Finland and it's enjoyable to judge.
