Sydney Royal Show Breed Stand
The Finnish Lapphund Club of NSW is participating in the annual breed showcase at the Sydney Royal Easter show this year.
The showcase contains various breed stands, each showcasing their breed to the general public. This gives the general public an opportunity to interact with the dogs, and ask questions about each breed.
It is being held on Tuesday 23rd April, in the Howie Pavillon.
We are calling on volunteers (and their Lappie!) to assist with manning our breed stand. Volunteers will need to arrive by 8:30am, and remain until 5pm.
To volunteer, Lappies need to be:
- Over 4 months of age
- Fully vaccinated
- Well groomed, including nails
- Comfortable in crowded, noisy environments
- Comfortable resting in a crate (we can provide the crate)
- Comfortable being in close proximity to other dogs
- Comfortable being petted by strangers
And their humans need to be comfortable with answering questions from the general public (don't worry though, the questions aren't complex).
Volunteers will receive a complementary entry pass, however due to the limited number provided to the club, we cannot provide additional complimentary passes for family members.
